The Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels of the 2022 Cadillac XT5 are powered by the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY) as standard, which is rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The optional Trailering Package adds a heavy duty cooling system to the luxury crossover, along with a two-inch receiver and wiring connector, which brings the XT4’s towing capacity to 3,500 pounds (1,588 kilograms). Rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, this setup is capable of hauling 2,500 pounds (1,134 kilograms) from the factory.
